Director Antoine Fuqua continued to cast his final roles for his upcoming White House thriller Olympus Has Fallen, also known by its earlier title White House Taken.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Ashley Judd joined the film as the First Lady to Aaron Eckhart’s U.S. President.
Recently, Radha Mitchell joined as Leah, the wife of Gerard Butler’s ex-secret service agent who finds himself battling Korean terrorists attacking the White House. Angela Bassett boarded the movie as the head of the Secret Service with Robert Forster joining as a high-ranking general joining the fight against the terrorists.
Production recently got underway in Shreveport, Louisiana, granting Olympus Has Fallen producers Millennium Films and West Coast Film Partnersa a head start on Roland Emmerich's terrorists-in-the-White-House thriller, White House Down, starring Channing Tatum, Maggie Gyllenhaal and reportedly Jamie Foxx as the president.
Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt co-wrote the script for Olympus Has Fallen.
Judd recently appeared on the short-lived ABC drama Missing, which failed to earn a second-season renewal.
