A second season run is in the cards for FX's series created by Glee co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Fulchuck, reports The Hollywood Reporter.
American Horror Story which co-stars Jessica Lange, Taissa Farmiga, Evan Peters, and Denis O’Hare, debuted October 5th and has notched up over 5 million viewers so far.

“It’s one thing to have the ambition and guts to reinvent a genre in a way that makes it captivatingly fresh for a broad audience -- it’s something else entirely to have the craft to back that ambition up,” FX president Jon Landgraf stated.
