Barry Pepper in Coen Bros 'True Grit'

Barry Pepper has joined the Coen brothers' "True Grit" as won't even have to use a fictional surname as "Lucky" Ned Pepper, the notorious outlaw played by Robert Duvall in Henry Hathaway's 1969 classic Western.
Pepper stars opposite Matt Damon, Jeff Bridges, Josh Brolin and Hailee Steinfeld.
Ethan and Joel Coen directed the from the screenplay they adapted. Scott Rudin produces with the Coens. Steven Spielberg serves as executive producer.
Pepper 's up next in George Hickenlooper's "Casino Jack" which follows disgraced Washington lobbyist Jack Abramoff. His other credits include the appalling "Battlefield Earth" as well as "Saving Private Ryan" and "The Green Mile."
